Vanilla black tea

Vanilla is considered the queen of all spices. The Aztecs flavored their famous chocolate drink with vanilla. The vanilla pod is the fruit of an orchid species native to Mexico. The hand-pollinated blossoms have ripe fruit after 8 months and are then treated in a complicated fermentation process. The pods change color and develop their full aroma. The careful processing is partly responsible for the high prices. It is worth using them for our black tea classic, as the exquisite, intense and very popular flavor of vanilla harmonizes beautifully with our black tea blend. It is in no way inferior to creamy vanilla desserts.
